1,000 Hot Meals a Week in Gaza

Give us thirty seconds. That is all this takes to read.

At the end of last year, 1.6 million people in Gaza were living with crisis levels of hunger. Then food reached them at scale, and by this summer that number had fallen to 1.2 million. It worked. Getting food to people worked.

Now it is going back the other way. The IPC projects more than 1.4 million by the end of this year. Two out of every three people in Gaza. Not because the food stopped working. Because it started running out.

So every week UMMA delivers 1,000 hot meals, cooked fresh and carried into three displacement camps. Nadi Al Mojama'a. Al-Zahra'a and Al-Haya, both in North Gaza.

You Have Given Before. Here Is What It Did.

Maybe you have donated to Gaza already and wondered whether it landed anywhere.

It did. 400,000 people came off the hunger rolls between last winter and this summer. That is not a slogan, it is the IPC's own count. Food going in is the only thing that has ever moved that number.

And this is exactly what 1 meal is. At least 500 grams of rice, spiced properly. Then 225 grams of chicken, or 125 grams of red meat, on top. No long chain, no guessing where it ended up.

$5 Is 1 Hot Meal. Give What You Can.

Whatever you can give, give it. $5, $25, $100. None of it is too small, and all of it turns into food.

$5 is 1 full plate in someone's hands. $25 is a family around 1 table. $5,000 covers a full week. All 1,000 meals. All 3 camps.

The projection for the end of this year is not a prophecy. It is a number that moves when people feed people. The least any of us can do is keep the pots lit.

Give now. Build. Serve. Scale.
